how do you guys think about this build?īFT, basics of survivability, expert marksman, vigilance, superintendent, AFT and manual AA control. At this point I think the AA build is better for the iowa. The way I see it there are 2 ways to go, AA build or concealment build. That being said, for me some guidance is not only helpful, it's probably crucial.I am close to unlocking the iowa but Im not really sure what upgrades and captain skills to get. Just to let you know I almost have my Iowa so I am not a tier 4 player that bought the Missouri and has no Idea how to use it, I have at least 1/2 an idea what to do.

Is it better to get a different 5th tier captains perk for these reasons when you are on a secondary build, or am I totally wrong about the secondaries not firing unless you designate? I also have read that they won't fire at targets on the opposite side of the ship, say the port side when I designate a target on the starboard side ( kind of like all of the gunners mates on the port side died or ran from their stations.

I was thinking of making a secondary build on her, but don't like the Idea that the secondaries won't open fire at approaching ships automatically. Even though I bought her I won't play her until I get the upgrades for her (I don't like to sell ships, so my credits are continuously low and the exchange rate for credits is awful so I won't waste doubloons on that aspect of the game). Is there a reason for the difference in the way these two manual controls work? The reason I ask is I am starting to play more BB's (my BB's lines are falling behind my CA/CL's and DD lines) I also bought the Missouri. If I am correct the manual fire control for AA opens fire at aircraft automatically and then you can designate a priority target and the AA continues to shoot at more than just the designated plane. So as I understand it, secondaries will only fire when you designate a target? and won't open fire on their own? This sounds good and bad to me.
